- Description
- Built in 1930 by a crew of two hundred men and opened as the Giant Dips, later the Speed Hound and the Big Coaster before settling on The Legend. A free form figure eight laid out by John A. Miller with John F. Pierce and Harry Baker, and one of only ten surviving Miller designs, using his anti rollback device, under friction wheels and station brakes. A six story lift feeds a sixty three foot drop and a ride of just over a minute. The track was renovated in two phases completed in 2013 and 2014.
