Description
Built in 1921 by the Prior and Church Company for the defunct Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland, where it operated as the Great American Racing Derby until that park closed after the 1965 season. Relocated to Cedar Point and reopened in 1967, it is one of only two Prior and Church racing derbies still operating in the United States, alongside the sister installation at Playland in Rye, New York. The ride is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
